FIRST Chesapeake invites you to play a pivotal role in the 2025 FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) season by hosting a district event. The heart of the FRC season lies in the dedication of our host venues and volunteers, and we’re excited to collaborate with schools and teams in the Chesapeake region for another unforgettable year of competition.
Hosting an FRC event is not just about providing a space; it’s about fostering a community of learning, collaboration, and excitement. By opening your doors to FRC teams and supporters, you become a catalyst for change, empowering young minds to explore the limitless possibilities of STEM.
To ensure the success of these district events every venue will need to accommodate:
Playing Field Area: Provide a spacious playing field area measuring at least 80 ft x 100 ft, with a ceiling height of 25+ feet.
Pit Area: Provide a minimum of 6,000 sq. ft. of pit area with easy access to the playing field, ideally on the same level.
Please submit your application indicating your willingness and ability to host and specify your preferred date for the event (1st and 2nd choice). We can’t wait to embark on this exciting journey with you, making a difference in the lives of countless young innovators.
