The FRC, FTC, and Volunteer Advisory Committees are an integral part of the FIRST Chesapeake community, dedicated to representing the needs, interests, and concerns of FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) teams, and FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams, and Volunteers across the district.Â
Our mission is to foster collaboration, provide valuable insights, and advocate for the advancement of teams, mentors, and volunteers.Â
Our primary goal is to provide guidance and recommendations to FIRST Chesapeake on matters affecting teams. We actively engage with team members, mentors, volunteers, and FIRST Chesapeake staff to address issues, drive initiatives, and enhance the overall experience.Â
We encourage every member of the Chesapeake Community to review our committee charters and suggest improvements to the appropriate committees. The FTC and Volunteer Charters are currently under development.Â
Comprised of dedicated team coaches, mentors, and volunteers, the Advisory Committees serves as a liaison between FIRST Chesapeake and the community. With a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, our members are passionate about supporting and empowering teams to succeed.
