About the event
Every robot that rolls onto the field at Championship started with someone who showed up. A mentor who stayed late. A volunteer who gave up a Saturday. An alum who came back because this community meant something.
FIRST Chesapeake is powered by more than 2,000 volunteers and a growing network of alumni who pour 54,000+ hours into this mission every season. "Built By Us" is our way of saying: we see you, we appreciate you, and we want to spend an evening celebrating what this community has created together.
Join us on Saturday night at the Chesapeake Lounge for food, drinks, games, good company, and a moment to recognize the people who make STEM access possible for 10,000+ students across DC, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.
