Overview

The District FIRST Technical Advisor (FTA) plays a crucial leadership role in the FTC season, ensuring that all fields, field control systems, software, and event technologies function correctly to provide teams with a smooth and fair competition experience. This position requires technical expertise, commitment, and experience in FTC field technology and event operations. The Head FTA will oversee training, recruitment, communication, and operational planning throughout the season.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an FTC FTA.

  • Strong understanding of FTC field control systems, software, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Excellent technical, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems efficiently.

  • Willingness to travel for competitions.

Work Conditions

Remote and In Person Events during the active season beginning in September and ending in February.
