Due to inclement weather, the FRC workshop scheduled for Sat. December 9th at George Mason High School in Falls Church, VA has been cancelled.

Dear FIRST Chesapeake FIRST Robotics Challenge Teams,

Our team hosts a large FRC kickoff event each year for the team, and this year, we would like to open this to other teams. The event will take place on Saturday, January 6 at Montgomery Blair High School (51 University Blvd E, Silver Spring, MD 20901).
A tentative schedule for the day is as follows:
  • 9:30 - 10:30: Team Breakfast
  • 10:30 - 11:30: Kickoff Broadcast
  • 11:45 - 12:00: Team Photos
  • 12:00 - 12:45: Lunch
  • 12:45 - 3:45: Strategy Discussion
  • 4:00 - 6:00: Strategy Presentations
Team 449 will be providing breakfast (TBD) to all attendees. Pizza can be purchased from the team ($5 per person). If there are concerns regarding food allergies or restrictions, there are a variety of restaurants across the street from our school where food can be purchased.
Our team typically breaks up into small groups for strategy discussions after the broadcast. Teams are welcome to be split into groups with our members, or we can reserve rooms for individual teams.
If teams are interested in attending this event, they can fill out this Google Form (preferrably by Dec 31st). We hope to see everyone in 2018!
